Important: Price update for domain name, web hosting, servers and other services

Due to the sustained increase in operational cost & increase in pricing for various services from our upstream service providers, hardware and support infrastructure cost, we are compelled to revise the prices of the domains and other services to raise them nominally. This price change is purely an outcome of the increased operational cost.

The prices of our domains and other services will be revised immediately for new orders & upcoming future renewals. You can view the modified prices by logging in to your billing ac at https://billing.webji.in/ 

It is highly recommended checking the revised prices for services from https://billing.webji.in/ if you are dealing with your clients to resell the same. All renewal invoices are already generated a few days in advance to expiry date to ensure you have sufficient time to plan on renewals accordingly.

The important variables which are resulting in pricing update:

  • Verisign the registry for .com domain name increased the registrar level cost therefore increased pricing for WebJi® inventory for the same .com domain name.   • USD to INR has increased conversion rate over the last 2 years.
  • Hardware for majority of our shared hosting servers is moved to NMVe / SSD based servers, and with daily backup now on all shared servers to remote data center. The improved hardware has shown the stability of the services, and rarely we have hardware downtime on our shared server network.
  • More investment has been done on remote backups over past years to make our entire shared hosting network fully remote backup.
  • Majority of SAAS (software as a service) platforms have increased their prices over last 2 years no matters its about whmcs, cpanel or plesk web hosting control panel. 
  • Increased overall support operation cost to maintain the high quality of support services with fast response time. As usual, most of the queries attended within < 30 minutes by ensuring required more staffing on the backend to make that happen it continually improved. All our old clients may verify the support and overall quality improvement. Compared with our competition and the type of support arrangement, we have a higher cost of runtime operations to manage the promising support levels at our helpdesk. We think that is something unique with us and shall be a privilege to our clients. 
  • Majority of TLDs have timely revision of pricing from upstream registrar, however we always try our level best to have fewer changes in pricing for renewals to minimize the effect. However, the prices need to match the inventory cost over time.
  • Increased cost of IPv4 to get new IPv4 IPs from data center, almost all data center (our suppliers) have increased their IPv4 pricing.
  • No matter the inventory cost, WebJi has offered stable pricing over the last few years without any major changes in pricing. Thus, pricing needs to be revised over time, so that we can deliver you better quality of service and support.
