Server Discontinuation and Migration (IP: 62.141.36.172) Effective 31st March 2026

We are writing to inform you of an important upcoming change that will affect your hosted services if your website or reseller hosting ac is hosted at server IP 62.141.36.172.

Effective 31st March 2026, the shared hosting server with IP address 62.141.36.172 will be permanently discontinued and decommissioned by the data center. The underlying hardware powering this server has reached the end of its operational life and is no longer capable of meeting modern performance, reliability, and security standards. Continuing to operate on aging and outdated hardware poses increasing risks to uptime and data integrity, and this decision has been made in the best interest of all clients hosted on this server.

As part of this migration, all websites, files, databases, and email accounts hosted on this server will be migrated to a new, modern server with updated hardware and improved performance.

Important Information Regarding MSSQL Databases:

All MSSQL databases currently running on versions 2012, 2017, and 2019 will be consolidated and migrated to MSSQL 2019 on the new server. Please note the following: 

- MSSQL 2012 was released 14 years ago and has reached the end of extended support from Microsoft. It no longer receives security updates and is considered an outdated and unsupported platform.

- MSSQL 2017 was released over 8 years ago and is also approaching the end of mainstream support. Running applications on this version presents growing compatibility and security concerns.

- MSSQL 2019 will serve as the unified database platform on the new server, offering better performance, security, and long-term support.

This consolidation to a single MSSQL 2019 instance is also necessary because the Plesk control panel does not support multiple database server level migrations simultaneously. Unifying all databases under MSSQL 2019 ensures a smooth, reliable, and manageable migration process.
