New Policy on Outbound Connections for cPanel and Plesk (Domains.B4UIndia.com)

This announcement is useful only for custmers having control panel of web hosting located at domains.b4uindia.com
As part of a series of initiatives to improve the stability of our Hosting services, we will be changing our policy on outbound connections made from Websites hosted with us. This policy will prevent attacks being launched from websites hosted with us. We will allow outbound connections only to the following ports:
Port 80 - HTTP
Port 443 - HTTPS
Port 53 - DNS
Port 43 - Whois
Port 110 – POP3
Port 143 - IMAP
Port 3306 - MySQL
Port 5432 - PostgreSQL
Port 1433 – Microsoft SQL Server
Port 8080 – a popular alternative to Port 80
This is a proactive step that we have taken to standardize our Hosting service. This policy will be implemented for both our Linux cPanel Hosting and our Windows Plesk Hosting.
