Latest Update 24 Feb 2025 18:19 IST
We want to keep you informed that our NCR servers are hosted at Yotta Data Center, one of India's leading Tier 3/4 data center (https://yotta.com/). We share this to reassure you that we have made no compromises at the infrastructure level and are partnered with one of the best in the industry.
Why Are We Experiencing Some Intermittent Issues?
Our colocation vendor has implemented the best possible technical improvements, but we are currently experiencing some network congestion at Yotta's data center level. To address this, our vendor is heading to the data center to verify and fine-tune network settings.
The DDoS situation is under control as of now due to new arrangements made by our vendor. Since multiple network level upgrades were completed simultaneously, certain network settings need further optimization. Our vendor and their team are actively working to resolve this.
Expected Resolution & Monitoring Updates
We expect to see improvements in intermittent issues by tomorrow. Despite the challenges, our minute-to-minute monitoring indicates 98-99% uptime over the past 48 hours, even while managing the attack and making critical network adjustments.
The next update on the situation will be shared tomorrow. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue making infrastructure-level improvements to provide you with even better service. Our colocation vendor is working diligently to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
At WebJi® we believe in transparency with the updates and trying to release more of the timely update as soon as we have the same.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Yours sincerely,
Anand Maheshwari (Director)

Latest Update 24 Feb 2025 17:09 IST
These are the few improvements DC vendor is working on right now:
Our data center is making key upgrades to improve performance:
1. for Indian users including a direct exchange connection with NIXI,
2. Tata’s 10Gbps DDoS protection (going live within 48 hours), and
3. new IP range to enhance security.
With multiple updates happening simultaneously, there may be temporary network adjustments and tuning required during which some intermittent issues can be there with network. The team is actively monitoring and resolving any issues to ensure stability.
We do not anticipate major downtime, but some intermittent issues / slowness may occur as the data center team works to mitigate the DDoS attack. They are actively implementing network improvements, which may take a few hours to 1-2 days to fully stabilize.
Despite the ongoing attack, the network has maintained around 98% uptime in recent days even with when the DDOS attack was there. Rest assured, the team is doing their best to ensure a smooth resolution. We appreciate your patience during this process.
Latest Update 24 Feb 2025 15:12 IST

Latest Update 22 Feb 2025 20:12 IST
At time of writing this announcement message please note that all services are up and running as the attack has been reduced in frequency so now its occasionally happening for some milliseconds. However here is update copying it as it is from our DC vendor:
We are experiencing regular DDoS attacks on our network. To mitigate this, we have already placed an order with TTSL (Tata) for DDoS protection and have also applied for a new IP series to mask our identity.
We anticipate both solutions will be active within the next 24-48 hours. If TTSL successfully mitigates the attacks, that would be ideal. However, if the issue persists, we will replace your current IP address with a new one.
We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated on further developments.

Latest Update 21 Feb 2025 14:46 IST
At this moment it is not a continuous downtime however intermittent issues are noted so the website speed or performance may not be upto mark or sometime might have short outage. Rest assured we are working at our level best and closely monitoring servers for last 24 hrs with every minute monitoring engines.
Latest Update 21 Feb 2025 14:16 IST
All services have been functioning normally since 9 PM last night until 14:16 IST today. However, the DDoS attack has resumed. Our data center team is actively working on mitigation, and we will provide updates on this same announcement threat as soon as we have more update on the same.
As previously mentioned, DDoS attacks typically occur in multiple waves over a period of 1 to 4 days. This pattern is observed because sustained attacks can be costly for the attacker, leading them to launch intermittent bursts rather than a continuous assault. Our insights are based on 19 years of experience in the web hosting industry.
To better handle such situations, even if they occur infrequently, our vendor is implementing new measures to enhance protection. This includes upgrading to 10 Gbps DDoS protection from Tata ISP, which generally takes around 7 days to be fully operational, though efforts are being made to expedite the process. Additionally, direct traffic routing through the NIXI Internet Exchange is currently partially live and is expected to be fully operational within the next 24 to 48 hours.
I Anand Maheshwari (Director at WebJi) is personally discussuing with him over phone the situation few times per day to get the latest update and I can ensure he is working day and night with all available resources at his full capacity. Those clients who are working with us for years understand we have been always transparent and fair to updates no matter situation is hard or easy.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this technical issue. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work diligently to resolve it. Thank you for your understanding.

Previous Update 20 Feb 2025 2:18 PM
We are currently experiencing a large number of DDoS attacks on our network, causing repeated downtime. Despite continuous efforts, we have not yet found a proper solution to mitigate these attacks effectively.
We are actively working with our Data Center team, but they too have not been able to provide a permanent resolution at this time. We request your patience for in the meantime or until the attackers stop their activity.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Screenshot shared by DC team below:

Kindly note that while some web hosts claim to offer DDoS protection, any web hosting provider, data center, or ISP can only mitigate such attacks up to a certain limit. When a DDoS attack exceeds mitigation thresholds, even the best defenses may struggle to fully prevent service disruptions in real time. This is not a failure of the network or hardware but rather an external attack targeting the network with high-volume DDoS traffic.
The only request we have right now is to kindly wait for a while and we will further share update as soon as we have more info or updates on the same from DC team.
From Anand Maheshwari Desk
I’d like to take this opportunity to share more insights about DDoS attacks. In reality, no data center can fully control or stop a DDoS attack—they can only mitigate its impact. The primary approach involves blocking the attacking IP ranges, but this is challenging because attackers often use botnets or other methods that leverage hundreds, thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of different IP addresses.
As being our client you might have query of when it will stop?
Screenshot of ChatGPT:

We are sharing this screenshot of ChatGPT to ensure transparency, so you can see exactly what ChatGPT has stated rather than relying on our personal interpretation. We understand that you may not be fully aware of the technical aspects of a DDoS attack, but it's important to note that no data center in the world can fully control or prevent it, as these attacks originate externally.
From a monetary perspective, launching a sustained DDoS attack is costly for attackers. As a result, they typically cannot maintain it for long. Based on our experience, attackers often attempt multiple repeated attacks before exhausting their own resources / funds.
Many of our clients have been with us for over 10 years, and as far as we are aware, this may be the only time you have encountered such an issue. While we are seeing some packet loss, overall services remain operational, which is a significant achievement from a technical standpoint. As mentioned earlier, our vendor is making every possible effort to mitigate the impact and keep services running as smoothly as possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this technical issue. We will continue to keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
We appreciate your patience and request you to stay tuned for further announcements regarding this matter.
Previous Update 20 Feb 2025 11:00 AM
Yesterday afternoon onwards, everything was working fine entire day was in close monitoring, but the DDoS attack has started again. Based on our experience, attackers generally have a few episodes before they stop. Our vendor's team is actively working to mitigate the issue.
Please note that DDoS attacks are not ideal situations for any data center, and their impact is typically widespread. In our 19 years of business experience, this is the third time we have encountered such an issue, highlighting that these are rare occurrences rather than day-to-day problems.
We kindly request your cooperation during this time, as there may be occasional packet loss or intermittent network issues during the ongoing DDOS attack. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this technical disruption. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
Previous Update 19/02/2025 13:31

Previous Update 19/02/2025 13:15
We would like to inform you that our NCR (Noida) data center is currently experiencing a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack. Our vendor’s security team is actively working to mitigate the attack and implement necessary countermeasures to minimize the impact on services.
Due to the nature of DDoS attacks, which involve a large number of new attacking IPs, mitigation efforts require continuous monitoring and real-time blocking of malicious traffic. As a result, users may experience intermittent connectivity issues during this period.
Please be assured that we are closely coordinating with our vendor to ensure a swift resolution and implement enhanced protection measures to prevent future occurrences. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore full stability as soon as possible.
If you experience any prolonged disruptions or require further assistance, please reach out to our support team at support@webji.services
Thank you for your cooperation.
Further updates will be shared over this announcement link.
