Email missing - primary cause - Antispam filters moving emails to spam folder Print

Please note that if any domain name email sender IP is blacklisted on the primary antispam index, then it is something the service provider of the sender email has to fix. What happens is the email might be returned to the sender with the reason provided of which blacklisting they have of their IP Or if light spam index, then moved to spam or junk folder in email id.

Many of our clients noted they use pop3 instead of IMAP access for their local Outlook setting, which is not an excellent way to access emails. Users are requested to ensure they configured IMAP only in their Outlook as pop3 only syncs the inbox. In contrast, if you have IMAP-based configuration on local Outlook, you can also see junk or spam folders. If you are not sure of IMAP settings, then kindly refer to our KB article at https://billing.webji.in/knowledgebase/5034/Hostname-to-setup-outlook-or-phone-email-client-for-mail-server-1.html and make sure your outlook is configured with IMAP instead of POP3 protocol.

If you want to customize your spam filter you can do that using kb article of webmail as mentioned at https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/webmail/webframe.html#Spam_Rules.html

So kindly make sure that you have proper Outlook configured and tune your spam filter to low risk with a move to inbox if you are sure you want to take spam marked email to inbox only.

We want to mention it is not our server issue rather, it is the issue of those few sender emails is not validated as per internet protocols or are sent from blacklisted IPs at their web host level either case, it needs to be fixed by them but using above-noted steps you can customize your settings to find more emails do not move to spam folder.

If you have any doubts or queries feel free to contact our technical team at support@webji.services but make sure to send email from registered id in our records only.
