How to host domain alias (to show same website on new domain name) in PLESK? Print

This is useful for you in case you want to host another domain name as a domain name alias to existing Plesk account to show same existing website with another domain name too.

Step1: Add new domain name as a domain alias to existing PLESK control panel steps as mentioned in the PLESK KB at https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/customer-guide/websites-and-domains/domains-and-dns/adding-domain-aliases.65286/

Step2: Now update the nameservers of your new domain name to same nameservers which are in your existing domain name to point that new domain name also to same server space.

Now wait for 24-48 hours for the DNS to get propagated, and it shall start showing same website with new domain name too.
